21 died in boat overturned, Kerala

Kerala: Big accident at dark night. More than 20 people have lost their lives in a major boat accident in Kerala. 21 people died when a boat capsized in Tanur, Malappuram district of Kerala at around 7 pm yesterday. Seven people are in critical condition. There were about 40 passengers on the boat when the accident occurred. It is said that most of them were small children ie school students.

According to information, a picnic was going on in the houseboat with the students on the occasion of the school’s spring break. There were about 40 people in the boat, most of them were students. Unfortunately, the boat suddenly capsized in Tanur. As a result, 21 people lost their lives. Among the dead are many school students. The accident is said to have occurred because more people were traveling on the boat than it could handle. It is also reported that there is no safety equipment in the boat.
