A controversial statement by MP Menka Gandhi

A statement of MP Menka Gandhi from Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh is in the headlines. The MP has advised children to teach four religious books including Gita, Quran in the school. Gandhi said, “I have read 50 pages of the Quran, Mohammad Sahab was vegetarian. “We should read four books, the MP said. Either Quran, one Bible, our Hindu religion has so many books. Choose Mahabharata, Ramayana, Geeta and fourth as Buddhism or Jainism.
