Cyber fraudsters caught by Rourkela Police

Rourkela, 8.5: Four cyber fraudsters from Delhi’s Ghaziabad area have been arrested by Raghunathpali police station, the accused are Pteen Kashana, Ravi Kumar, Ajay Kumar and Ashish Chaudhuri, one Tata Safari car, one laptop, 12 mobiles and 21 SIM cards were taken from them. The police have seized it.

According to information, a woman residing in civil township area under Raghunathpali police station took an insurance with HDFC Bank seven years ago today, but after paying the first installment, the insurance lapsed. Last month, knowing that the insurance lapsed, he contacted the customer care of the bank, but the cyber fraudster somehow got the complainant’s mobile number and contacted him. To get the lapsed insurance money back, he had to pay some money. He did not pick up the phone after receiving the money. Finally finding no way, he filed a written complaint at Raghunathpali police station on April 10. The police registered a case and started investigation. A team led by Raghunathpali police station inspector arrived in Ghaziabad, Delhi and arrested the cyber fraudster.
