Fake Certificate Scam, 2 teachers dismissed

Kandhamal : The two dismissed teachers are Padayini Swayam of Cuttack district and Krishnachandra Shetpathi of Ganjam district. Both were employed as junior teachers in upper primary schools.

According to the information, in April 2018, Padayini was recruited as a junior teacher in Sirtiguda Higher Primary School. Similarly, Krishnachandra was recruited as a junior teacher in Dimissingia Higher Primary School. Later, after verification of their road certificates, it was found that their certificates were fake.

After investigating the incident, they were dismissed from their jobs on February 10 last year. On May 2, K. Nuaga village education officer Pramod Kumar Mallik filed a complaint in the police station to take legal action against both of them. K. Nuaga police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
