Patna (Bihar): High Court slaps Nitish Kumar. Order to stop caste survey. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar conducted the census in Bihar as the first state. The Patna High Court has banned it. The court ordered to ensure that the data of this survey is not disclosed until the case is heard. The court has scheduled the next hearing of the case on July 7. The High Court has criticized such a decision of the Nitish government and the state government has the right to conduct house-to-house survey. The court said that only the central government has the right to do the enumeration and survey. It has been reported that the Pitesh government will appeal to the Supreme Court challenging the verdict of the High Court. The first round of ethnic polls in Bihar has been conducted between January 7 and 21. The second phase survey started from April 15th and was to continue till May 15th. But the court ordered to stop it.
