Maulana Kaifi Khan Sent to Chowdwar Jail, DCP Cuttack

Cuttack (Odisha) : Choudhary Maulana Kaifi Khan went to jail. He was caught by the police of Mangalabagh police station after defrauding more than one crore rupees in the name of system mantra. Later he was arrested and remanded for 4 days. He was sent to jail after the remand period ended today. He cheated 1 crore 13 lakh 95 thousand rupees from various people. Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra informed this in a press conference today.

He said, the police seized property worth 91 lakh 82 thousand rupees from him. In his name, 5 letters have been registered in Mangalabagh police station and one in Sadar police station. 95 bank accounts (FD and RD) of Maulana have been seized. In which there are 29 lakh 56 thousand rupees. This money has been frozen. In addition, 5 LIC bonds have also been seized. In which more than 12 lakhs was deposited. It is also frozen. However, investigation is going on whether he has invested the fraudulent money in it or not.
