Ranjan kumar Das appointed as chief Administrator of Jagannath Temple Puri

Bhubaneswar-The Odisha Government on Saturday appointed 2007-batch IAS officer Ranjan Kumar Das as the new Chief Administrator of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, Puri.

Das will replace Vir Vikram Yadav the day he assumes office. The Government declared the post of Chief Administrator, SJTA, Puri equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Special Secretary as provided in the IAS cadre, a notification issued by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department read.

“The additional appointment of Vir Vikram Yadav as Chief Administrator, SJTA, Puri shall stand terminated from the date Ranjan Kumar Das takes over,” read the notification.
Das is currently serving as Special Secretary, Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department with additional charge as Director of the department.

Besides, the Government shifted 2003-batch IAS Srikant Prusty, currently Special Secretary, Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts, as Special Secretary, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Department.
