School roof blown off, more than 30 students injured

Keonjhar: Vivekananda Education Center at Suna Penth Gram Panchayat Tigiria under Harichandanpur Block of Keonjhar District was blown up by Kala Baisakhi. 7 students were injured. They were rescued by the villagers and admitted to Harichandanpur Community Health Centre.

According to the information received, a person named Trilochan Mahanth of Matihudi village is running this school under the name of Vivekananda Education Center for more than 3 years. Today afternoon Kala Baisakhi school was broken into and 7 students were seriously injured while more than 30 students were injured.

According to the parents, the owner of the school, Trilochan Mahanth, asked the students to leave the school saying that coaching would be provided with tuition, so they left Soman’s child in the school. However, after today’s incident, everything has come to light. When asked Gopal Chandra Sahu, Additional Block Education Officer, Harichandanpur, he said, “We do not have any information about the fact that the educational institution has been built without any paperwork.” He said that they will visit the spot tomorrow and find out all the facts.
