Two accused got bail on PMLA Case
New Delhi : Delhi’s Deputy CM Manish Sisodia is also an accused in the liquor scam. He is pleading for bail but the court is not giving him bail. For the first time, two accused have got regular bail from the court in the PMLA case registered by ED in Delhi liquor scam. The court admitted that the agency could not present any such evidence against both the accused which would lead to the belief that both had an active role in the scam. Delhi’s Deputy CM Manish Sisodia is also an accused in the liquor scam. He is pleading for bail but the court is not giving him bail.
Rajesh Joshi and Gautam Malhotra are among the accused who got regular bail for the first time in the Money Laundering Act. Both got bail from the special court. In both the cases, the ED tried hard to prevent the accused from getting regular bail. But the judge rejected the agency’s arguments outright.
